The Beethoven Emperor Piano Concerto No.5
This made for DVD performance of Beethoven’ ‘Emperor’ concerto features Australia’s leading Beethoven interpreter Gerard Willems playing an Australian designed Stuart & Sons piano. The filming of this performance took place during the recording sessions for the complete Beethoven concertos released on CD by ABC classics. As a result, the audience is taken out of the stalls and onto the stage to experience every note of emotion and excitement as the drama of the music unfolds.
